Chewing gum removal ensuring pavement and walk way protection from spray paint graffiti and bubble gum litter.

The low visibility reversible coating with non stick properties which allows easy chewing gum or spray paint graffiti removal from treated surfaces.

Chewing gum removal with CLEARWAY the environmentally safe street graffiti protection system.
Pavements and walkways outside the communal areas of our cities and towns are constantly subjected to the damaging influences of unsightly litter caused by discarded chewing gum.
The resulting difficult and costly clean up bills run into $ billions each year, these are costs which are escalating.
It is now possible to undertake preventative measures at a relatively low cost both in terms of financial cost and environmental impact.
CLEARWAY is a non stick system which was  developed with the following properties:

Safe and easy to use Formulation is non hazardous for application
Friendly to the environment Water based product solvent free
Safe and easy clean up using water All tools and equipment cleaned with water
Treated surfaces have a low visibility Micro emulsion is difficult to see on most surfaces
Reversible coating, easily removed Coating and gum quickly removed by hot water
Quick to apply with low cost equipment Put on with standard mechanical low pressure spray
Single product system no mixing Ready to use just take on site and apply

For easier chewing gum removal by treating porous surfaces such as concrete, brick or stone to make them
"non stick."  Treatment is reversible - the coating can be removed by pressure washing with hot water. CLEARWAY imparts very strong hydrophobic properties to protected areas whilst the micro porous nature of the treatment still allows the surface to breathe. Permits easy future cleaning of treated surfaces by simple scraping or using only a hot water pressure washer.

Preparation of the surface.

Only suitable for porous surfaces like brick, stone or concrete.
Do not use on asphalt or tar surfaces
.
The surface must be washed clean and then be allowed to dry before applying Clearway.
Prior to treatment adherent surface crusts of pollutants and contaminants as well as blooms, algae and moss, must be treated and removed. The opening up of surface pores and capillaries during this preparatory cleaning, will ensure that a satisfactory uptake and absorption of the anti graffiti treatment is achieved.
Residues from the cleaning process must always be removed completely by rinsing with water.

Tools and equipment.

Clearway is ready to use and does not have to be diluted.
All low pressure sprayer units are suitable as application equipment.
After use or during prolonged work stoppages, tools must be thoroughly cleaned with water.

Suggested product coverage rate.

Apply Clearway at a coverage rate of 10 sq. meters per litre
